Sitting here, going through a couple days worth of photos from last race season that I completely forgot about, and watching !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! prior to heading to Sebring next week. I've found myself watching a lot of old CART races too. By a lot, I mean every race 94-00, and I'm halfway through the 01 season. I tend to immerse myself in these things to try and get a good grasp of the history, and I find it interesting. Here...have Memo Rojas in the #01 CGRT BMW/Riley during practice for the 2013 Brickyard Grand Prix for your trouble.

And, hell...have my car at Indy last May too.

Yup, specially at this time of year. I get excited for Formula one season and start digging through old races on Youtube. Just watched the 1993 GP of Europe in glorious, non portuguese, commentaries and was suddenly reminded why I haven't followed Formula one in years.

Fuck you too, Galvão Bueno.

I've got a bigass file that I torrented awhile back of a lot of old F1 highlights shows and races, good history there too.

I'm working my way through the IMSA series, the GTP years.

I've seen a lot of videos for that pop up in my quest for Sebring footage lately. I'm sure I'll tackle that at some point once I finish CART, and then go back to the videos that I've now seen for CART pre-1994. And IRL highlights...

Funny you should post this. For the last hour or so I've been watching the last two hours of the recent 24h of Daytona race on youtube.

my personal favourites have been 1984-1995 F1 qualifying. But 1994-2000 CART is next on my list

Nicely done. Watching old Daytona is on the list, I've gone through a lot of old photo galleries of the race before.

You can't beat the way F1 used to qualify, special engines and all, hanging it on the ragged edge. The goal withe me watching CART was to make it from before the split, all the way back to the reunification. I was too young/not a big enough fan when it all happened to really appreciate where some of the drivers and teams came from, so now I'm trying to figure it all out. Check out CrapwagonChampCarFan on youtube for CART stuff.
